Tarot Workshops with Lucy Setters Clairvoyant near Brighton

I run day workshops which I entitle 'Fundamentals of Tarot', the logic being that I cover the fundamentals, to help students get up to speed as soon as possible and thereby start intuitively reading the cards.

Topics covered include the meanings of the Major and Minor Arcana and how they interact in a reading, meanings of the suits, court cards and 'pip' cards. I work with the imagery, colour and numerogical aspects of the Tarot. I also provide guidance on spreads however the objective is to provide a basic framework, so that students can find their own way with reading their tarot cards as it is personal to each individual. And it's fun!

Course : Developing Intuition Description I will be running a weekly evening course on 'Developing Intuition' at Portslade Community College Adult Learning for 4 weeks starting 2nd October 2008. It will cover areas such as why intuition is important and how it can help creativity and decision making, with exercises to help you identify how your intuition works for you. What facilitates intuition, how to develop intuition and check it against your logical side. Course : Intermediate Tarot workshop Description The objective is to provide detailed 'mechanics' of Tarot to allow you to develop your own style and read to develop your own intuition and also to be able to read for others. I am assuming a basic knowledge of Tarot but will be recapping on the principles - it is a complex system! I will be covering the principles of the Major/Minor Arcana, the court cards and keywords relating to the suits and 'pip' cards. I will also cover the archetypes reflected in the Major Arcana and how they influence the reading, the imagery of the cards and Tarot's relationship to the elements, colours, astrology and numerology. There will be plenty of time for guided practice in reading the cards both within the group and breakout sessions. Course : Tarot for beginners Description This workshop is designed to provide a basic understanding of the principles of Tarot as a tool for developing intuition. This fun and interactive day will cover: A brief history of Tarot, principles of the Major and Minor Arcana, the suits and court cards, meaning of the numbers, pictorial and colour imagery. There will be plenty of time for guided practice and plenty of tips! Rider Waite Tarot packs will be provided for use in the workshop but do also bring your own if you wish! Course : Tarot practice session Description This is an informal session to provide guided practice in working with Tarot. Lots of hints and tips with handouts.
